Beading 101...Taught by various instructors you will learn how to make a simple necklace, bracelet or pair of earrings. Become skilled at how to string beads together into a beautiful necklace or bracelet and crimp onto a clasp. Create a pair of simple earrings using tools to make a loop and put onto an earring. Class fee is $7 and includes materials.  Skill level: Beginner - morning and afternoon.

Circular Paths Bracelet

A new approach to a fabulous sculptural design. This contemporary bracelet is constructed of seed beads, glass pearls, crystals, and drop beads. The clasp is part of the design. Kelly’s pattern is easy to follow with lots of photos and understandable instructions. Kit comes in two different colors. Class fee is $51 and includes the kit with everything you will need to make this beautiful bracelet. Skill level: Intermediate - 3 hour class - Morning

Ribbon Lace Necklace

This design swings into fashion with a ribbon-like pendant and fringe to set it off. Constructed of seed beads, glass pearls, crystals, and drop beads, this necklace is made in individual chains connected together. Kelly’s pattern is easy to follow with lots of photos and understandable instructions. Kit comes in two different colors. Class fee is $53 and includes the kit with everything you will need to make this beautiful bracelet. You will need to supply scissors, thread heaven, and a bead mat. Skill level: Intermediate - 3 hour class - Afternoon

Cleopatra's Pendant

A beautiful piece of handmade jewelry provides a unique accent to any outfit. The tradition of wire jewelry is over 4000 years old. Learn how to make this gorgeous pendant using square wire and beads. You will learn how to create the wire wraps using pliers and side cutters. Class fee is $60 and includes the wire and beads. You will need to supply chain nose pliers, flat nose pliers, round nose pliers, side cutters, and a bead mat. Skill level: Beginner - 3 hour class - Morning

Wire-wrapped Cabochon

Wrap a flat bead or cabochon with square and half-round wire. You will learn how to create the wire wraps using pliers and side cutters. Once the bail is created, you will then learn embellishment techniques creating curly-q, rolled buns, and wraps. Class fee is $60 and includes the wire and beads. You will need to supply chain nose pliers, flat nose pliers, round nose pliers, side cutters, and a bead mat. Skill level: Beginner - 3 hour class - Afternoon

Learn how to loom using Paul’s unique easy to warp loom. You will learn what warping and wefting is, how to warp a loom, how to read a loom beadweaving pattern, remove your finished piece from the loom and finish off. Class fee is $50 and includes loom. Paul will supply the beads, thread, and needles. Skill level: Beginner - 3 hour class - Morning

The Byzantine weave is a member of the European chainmaille family. It is constructed of jump rings. In this class you will learn how to use pliers and jump ring opener to make this classic design. Byzantine looks complicated, but people never fail to be surprised at how easy it is to weave. You need flat nose pliers and bead mat. Class fee is $50 and includes kit. Skill level: Beginner - 3 hour class - Morning

An illusion of knots, this is a truly wonderful chainmaille design that is fascinating to learn and fun to wear. You will wow your friends with this one. Triple Crocheted Wire Necklace

Crochet a three-strand necklace using high quality non-tarnish plated wire and glass beads or gemstones, and learn how to finish it off with matching findings. The result is an enchanting piece of lacy jewelry. This creation is deceptively easy to make. You don’t need to know how to crochet to learn this easy project. Class fee is $50 and includes kit of beads, wire, and findings. You need size K (10.5mm) crochet hook (plastic preferably, but metal will work), round nose pliers, and flat nose pliers. Unearth the ancient art of Viking Knit. In this class you will understand how to weave a double Viking knit neck chain and discover how to make a wire herringbone teardrop pendant. Learn tricks at how to make the Viking chain look endless and how to finish off the ends. Be careful, it is addictive. Class fee is $60 and includes kit of wire, beads, teardrop pendant, and findings. You will need to bring flat nose pliers, chain nose pliers, side cutters, and round nose pliers. Skill level: Intermediate - 3 hour class - Afternoon

Kumihimo Beaded Bracelet

Kumihimo, the art of Japanese braiding, can look intimidating, but it is actually easy and fun. Students will use a low-cost loom. Learn how to replicate the look of crochet ropes with beads. A demonstration on the marudai will be included in class. Class fee is $55 and includes the kit of everything you will need including the Kumihimo round loom. Skill level: Intermediate - 3 hour class - Afternoon

Beading Around A Cabochon

Incorporating cabochons is a great way to expand on seed beaded jewelry designs, and the basic technique is not that difficult to master. Learn how to sew beads around a cabochon to create a beautiful pendant. Class fee is $65 and includes cab and beads. You need Nymo size B or D thread, size 12 sharps needles, scissors, bead mat and a task light if needed. Skill level: Advanced Beginner - All Day Class

Resin Charm Bracelet

Create unique charms for a memory bracelet using resin, images and bezels. Discover how to use resin in bezels and molds; create small bead charms using wire or headpins and beads; and learn how to attach the charms to a chain bracelet. Class fee is $50 and includes everything you will need to make your bracelet. You will need to bring small pictures or images. Instructor provides tools and assortment of images for your use. Skill level: Beginner - 3 hour class - Morning (offered again in the afternoon)

To ensure availability and avoid waiting in line, we encourage you to pre-register as seating is limited to eight attendees per class.
Cash, check, VISA, and MasterCard accepted All classes include kits for the basic materials. Attendees responsible to bring tools, scissors, bead lamps, etc that is required for each class. Maximum class size is eight attendees. No children under 12.
